Mode of Application
Selection Process
1. The candidates will be shortlisted for training on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in their ITI course.
2. In case of tie in the percentage of ITI marks, candidates with higher percentage obtained in 10th/ 8th standard
will be placed higher on the merit list (8th Class only in case of Welder, Carpenter/ Wood work Technician,
Mason/ Civil Mistry, Plumber).
3. In case of tie in the percentage of marks obtained in 10th/ 8th class, the candidate born earlier shall be
considered.

Application Process
1. Eligible and interested candidates are required to register in the web portal
https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for enrollment as Apprentice. The Applications will not be accepted
without registration and without unique Registration number (For eg: AXXXXXXXXXX) obtained from the
above mentioned web portal.
2. Candidates have to mandatorily complete their AADHAR (e-KYC) verification of their enrollment in
https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal and shall provide the details of registered e-mail id and mobile
number while registered on e-KYC in their Application.
3. Facility for submission of online application will be available from 20/07/2026 to 19/08/2026on IGCAR
website i.e. www.igcar.gov.in under the tab "Opportunities ->Recruitment".
