Application Fee

A non-refundable Application fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be paid online through payment gateway by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Post Sl no 01 – 07 and Rs 500/- for Post Sl no 08 – 16.

No application fee shall be charged from the candidates of SC, ST, PwBDs categories, Ex-serviceman and Women candidates. However, they are required to pay Rs. 200/- towards postal expenses.

Application Process

1. Online mode of submission of application form shall be essential .Applicants shall first register on the Recruitment portal, after which, they can fill up the prescribed electronic application form online. Last date for receipt of filled-in application form is 16th August, 2026 at 11:59 pm. It is for the candidates to ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and therefore urged to read the advertisement, other guidelines and instructions carefully before submitting any application.

2. “Submission of hard copy of application is mandatory.” The candidate must submit the hard copy (single copy) along with duly enclosed self-attested copies of all the relevant documents like proof of academic qualifications, experience, caste certificates, OBC-NCL, Disability certificate, Income & Asset and publications etc. having proper serial numbers as claimed by them in the online application preferably within 15 days of the last day of submitting online application to the “Deputy Registrar, Room No # 103, Raja Rammohan Ray Administrative Building, Assam University, Silchar, Pin-788011, Cachar, Assam.
