Selection Process
| The selection process shall be based solely On a Written Test (OMR/CBT Mode) consisting of
100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying a total of 150 marks. The examination will be
conducted for a duration of two hours either in OMR based answer sheets / CBT Mode as per decision of the Board. Each correct answer will carry
1.5 marks, while 0.5 marks will deducted for every wrong answer. The questions will prepared according to the syllabus
uploaded on the SSB Odisha official website (https://ssbodisha.ac.in/syllabus/) Candidates
belonging to the Unreserved category must secure at least 40% marks, while candidates
belonging to SC/ST/SEBC and pwd categories must obtain a minimum of 30% marks to
qualify. In case of a tie in the written examination, preference will be given to the candidate
securing higher aggregate marks in the Bachelors or equivalent examination. If the tie
still continues, the candidate older in age shall selectd.
