In pursuance of the directions of the Govt. of Assam, Online Applications are invited for filling up of 48 posts of Sub Inspector (UB) in the Assam Police, 4 Posts of Sub Inspector of Police (Communication) in APRO, 6 posts of Station Officer & 5 posts of Squad Commander in F & ES and 39 posts of Assistant Jailor in Prison Department in the Pay Scale of Rs. 14000-70000/- (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade Pay plus other Allowances, as admissible under the Rules:-
