Engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961
Jammu & Kashmir Bank invites online applications for engagement of Apprentices under NATS (National
Apprenticeship Training Scheme) as per Apprentices Act-1961 (as amended) for a period of one (01) year. Selected
candidates will be engaged in Branches/ Offices of the Bank in the respective districts at the discretion of the Bank.:-

Educational Qualification
Stipend
• The apprentices shall be eligible for monthly stipend of Rs. 13500/- (Rs. 9000/- Banks Share + Rs. 4500/- Govt Share). Rs. 4500/- shall
be disbursed by Govt. agency through DBT to eligible candidates. The Bank In no case shall disburse stipend more than Rs. 9000/- pm.
• Entitlement of conveyance up to a maximum of Rs. 1250/- pm. Apprentices shall not be eligible for any other allowances/benefits.
Note: DBT amount of Rs. 4500/- from Govt. Agency will only be paid in respect of Apprentices whose age is less than 35 years as on date of
issuance of online contract issuance through Apprenticeship Portal (if shortlisted). |

Mode of Application
Selection Process
a. Online Written Test (objective type)
b. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the
candidate one fourth (1/4th) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at final score. If a question is
left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
c. Merit List will be drawn district / region and category wise.
d. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective districts / regions and Categories.
e. In case more than one candidate scores same marks in the Merit List, such candidate will be
ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order.
f. Online examination will be conducted only in English language.
g. Bank reserve the right to conduct any other test or follow any other selection criteria at its discretion.
