Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of "Junior Engineer (Civil/
Electrical)" in the Reserve Bank of India, hereinafter referred to as "the Bank". Selection for the
post will be through a country-wide competitive examination followed by a Language

Salary & Allowances
| Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹47,700/- per month (i.e. ₹29,000/- plus
nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹29000 - 1700 (3) -
34100 - 2040 (4) – 42260 - 2720 (6) - 58580 - 2950 (2) - 64480 - 3370 (3) - 74590 - 4050 (1) -
78640 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross
emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is approximately ₹91,309/- |

a) Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on April 01, 2026 are first required to
visit the link i.e., "Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) - Panel
Year 2026" in the advertisement page for filling the "Online Application". It redirects the
candidates to the online registration page.
b) Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph, signature, left
thumb impression and a hand-written declaration in the online application form as per the
specifications given.
c) To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter name,
contact details and e-mail ID. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be
generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the
Provisional Registration Number and Password. An e-mail & SMS indicating the Provisional
Registration number and Password will also be sent.
