The CRPF will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment of Indian citizens against vacancies prescribed for Male and Female candidates who are ordinarily residents of their respective States/UTs to fill up the vacancies of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) in Central Reserve Police Force as per the Recruitment Scheme/Rules formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs/CRPF. i) For Constable (Driver):- 21-27 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/1999 and later than 01/01/2005. ii) For Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle / Cobbler / Carpenter / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band / Gardner / Bugler / Painter / Cook / Barber cum Hair Dresser / Washer Man & Women / Water Carrier / Safai Karamchari / Mason / Plumber / Electrician:- 18-23 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/01/2003 and later than 01/01/2008. (Age relaxation is applicable in several categories according to rule of govt) |

Educational Qualification

For Driver post - 10th with Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and should pass the driving test at the time of recruitment. For Mechanic Motor Vehicle post - 10th & ITI OR National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade For all other Tradesmen post - 10th & Must be proficient and worked in respective trades. For Pioneer Wing (Mason/ Electrician) post - 10th & experience in respective trades |

Selection Process
| i) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) ii) Physical Standard Test (PST) iii) The candidates who are declared not qualified in physical Standards i.e. height and chest may prefer an appeal on same day, if they so desire, to the Appellate Authority nominated for the Centre through Presiding Officer (PO). The decision of the Appellate Authority will be final and no further appeal or representation thereafter in this regard will be entertained. iv) Only those candidates who qualify in PET & PST shall be called for next stage of recruitment i.e. CBT. Detailed scrutiny of candidates eligibility/documents will be undertaken at the time of Document Verification (DV)/Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the candidates to verify their eligibility as prescribed in this Notice from time to time before appearing for Trade test and DME/RME. v) There is total relaxation in PET & PST for Ex-serviceman (ESM). PET will not be held for these Ex-servicemen candidates but have to appear in PST for recording measurement of height, chest and weight only.
