requirements, for two year Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS) under the Apprentices Act,

Educational Qualification

First Year - ₹ 11000/-
Second Year - ₹ 12000/-
In case of selection on contract basis after completion of training as mentioned
at Clause V above, the consolidated pay may be as below:
First Year (Consolidated pay per month ₹ 22100/-) (Compensation for extra hours of Work ₹ 5530/-)
Second Year (Consolidated pay per month ₹ 22800/-) (Compensation for extra hours of Work ₹ 5700/-)
Third year (Consolidated pay per month ₹ 23400/-) (Compensation for extra hours of Work ₹ 5850/-)

Mode of Application
Selection Process
a) The method of selection shall be based on Physical Test for 100 Marks. Candidates
who are meeting notified eligibility requirements shall be short listed for Physical Test.
b) Only those candidates who successfully complete the certificate verification
shall be shortlisted to attend the Physical test. In case the number of applicants
are more, CSL reserves the right to conduct a screening test (written test) for
preparing a shortlist in the ratio 1:6 for appearing for physical test.

Application Process
i) Applicants should go to the website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career page-> CSL,
Kochi) and proceed to the link for online application. The application consists of
two phases – One time Registration and Submission of application. Applicants
should not submit more than one application. Application once submitted shall be final.
ii) Applicants meeting the notified requirements may go through the instructions on
the online application page, complete the Registration and submit their
application online through the online application portal from 06 May 2026 and
the portal can be accessed through our website www.cochinshipyard.in (Career
page-> CSL, Kochi). Application submitted direct or by any other mode shall notbe accepted.
