Selection Process
On the basis of GATE 2026 score in the discipline of Civil Engineering:-
(A) NOTE : The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be considered for appointment
or interview.
(B) In the event of number of applications being large, NHAI will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates for interaction/ interview, if
called, to a reasonable number by any method to be decided by the Selection Committee.
(C) In case of direct recruitment made by the Authority, the merit of candidates having same rank in the merit list shall be determined on the basis of the date
of birth, the person born earlier shall be placed higher in the merit list. If date of birth of such candidates is also same, the merit shall be determined in the
order of first letter in English alphabet of their initial names.
