Application for Engagement of Apprentices (under the Apprentices Act, 1961) for One Year
Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC), under the aegis of Defence Research &
Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications for engagement of Apprentices under the

Mandatory Registration under Apprentice Act, 1961: It is mandatory for Graduate/Diploma/ITI pass-
out candidates to register themselves at http://www.mhrdnats.gov.in or enroll themselves on National
Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal http://nats.education.gov.in before applying for
apprenticeship training. Applications of non-registered candidates are liable to be rejected.
Application form can be downloaded from the DRDO website www.drdo.gov.in (in Whats New).
Candidates are required to submit duly filled application along with xerox copy of all relevant documents
by Post or by Hand to Director, Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre, Metcalfe
House, Civil Lines, Delhi - 110054. The envelope should be superscribed with the name applied for
respective subject.
